NetBet Sign Up Offer for September 2024 – NetBet UK Review

NetBet Overview

NetBet is a complete gambling brand that goes a little under the radar in the UK, despite its great NetBet welcome offer. This is a shame as it’s an excellent site, and this NetBet review will hopefully help convince you of that. Primarily a betting site, NetBet is the complete internet gambling package with a casino, a live casino, poker and lottery betting options.

This betting brand has been in operation since 2001 and has been offering gambling services since 2006. Its main focus is the UK gambling market, but it also has gambling licences for France, Italy, Romania, Nigeria and others. Its UK licence was awarded in 2017 and has run with a completely unblemished record ever since. The company is currently headquartered in Malta.

Not a lot is known about the company behind NetBet (NetBet Enterprises Limited) and there is not much information around about them. The site does not have an extensive ‘About Us’ page as many others have. This is not something to worry about, though – some sites are just less transparent than others. It’s worth repeating here that in 7+ years of UK operation, this site’s compliance record remains spotless.

Bet Here Because:

  • Complete package of sports betting, casino and poker
  • The ‘Romford Pele’ Ray Parlour is the UK brand ambassador for NetBet
  • ‘£5k Correct Score Jackpot’ game that’s free to play
  • Win daily prizes with the ‘Wheel of Sportune’
  • Bet Builder is available on most team sports, not just football
  • Boost your acca wins by up to 50 per cent
  • Unblemished UKGC record for compliance

But Keep in Mind:

  • NetBet is not exactly transparent
  • With the Ray Parlour connection, not the best site for Spurs fans!
  • No live streaming

Our rating system explained

betting markets

4.8/5
The betting markets at NetBet are extensive as you would expect them to be. Full coverage is given to the leading sports from football and horse racing to cricket and tennis. There is coverage of less popular sports too, including pesapallo and beach volleyball. You'll find tens of thousands of matches and competitions to bet on, and no matter what you want to bet on, you can very probably bet on it at NetBet.

odds

4.6/5
NetBet's odds are good, but you'd likely to find slightly better odds at bigger sites. However, this difference should not have too much of an effect your returns, so it's not something you really need concern yourself with. If you are football betting, NetBet's policy of paying out as soon as your backed side go two goals up should render that difference immeasurable anyhow. No 'Best Odds Guaranteed' here for horse racing, which is a shame.

support

4.9/5
NetBet has great FAQs, so if you get stuck at the NetBet sports betting site they should help you climb back out. Support can be obtained by the email form at the site, or by using the customer support chat applet. We tried it and were impressed that we were put through to a real person IMMEDIATELY. No bots here, thankfully. The responses were fast too, and our queries received satisfactory answers. Excellent!

payment methods

4.7/5
Hardly anything to fault here. A very good range of payment methods, although both Skrill and Neteller are missing, leaving PayPal as the only option when it comes to eWallets. Also, many sites now send you your money instantly, but at NetEnt the quickest return was 24 hours which needs improving.

bonuses

4.8/5
We're happy with the promotions available at NetBet, and you can claim the welcome bonus for the casino and NetBet sports betting, not either/or, which is excellent. We wish there were more promotions for NetBet sport though as the casino is certainly winning in that department.

withdrawal

4.6/5
The NetBet withdrawal time across the board is 24 to 48 hours, but that does not include payment provider processing times. As we have just said, this could be quicker as many sites will now pay you via debit cards and eWallets in less than an hour.

safety

4.8/5
Having an unblemished UKGC sanctions record is something to be boasted about, and we have no criticisms of NetBet when it comes to safety. The amount of responsible gambling options here is impressive too, although we had to knock NetBet down a couple of minor levels due to the lack of transparency.

How to Claim Your NetBet Welcome Offer

You shouldn’t face any problems getting started with your NetBet account and claiming those three £10 free bets and 500 free spins, but just in case you are not sure how you go about it, here is a quick rundown.

  1. Visit NetBet

There are several buttons on this page you can click to head to the NetBet site. Find one and click on it. You can do this on a PC, laptop or any mobile device.
  2. Sign Up

Click the ‘Register’ button and fill in all the requested information. First is your email address, phone number and chosen username. Following that you must choose a password and enter your name and date of birth. The final step is to enter your address, then you will also need to add the bonus code ‘NBWELCOME50’ ONLY if you are claiming the NetBet welcome offer for the casino.
  3. Make a Deposit

Once everything with your account is settled you will need to make a qualifying deposit. It is the same no matter which bonus you claim – £10. You will also need to make it with a debit card as it is your first deposit at the site, else you will likely not qualify for a welcome bonus.

NetBet Welcome Offer Details

Let’s go in deep with the NetBet sign-up offer just so you know precisely what you are getting, and how to get it. We’ll go through the sports betting bonus first. Once you have registered on NetBet, head to the cashier and deposit at least £10 using a Visa or MasterCard debit card. Next, pop along to NetBet’s Bet Builder and make up a bet builder bet with at least three selections and total minimum odds of at least 3/1 or 4.00 decimal. You must do this within 30 days of registering. Once that has settled you will receive the following:

  • 1 x £10 Bet Builder Free Bet
  • 1 x £10 Acca Free Bet
  • 1 x £10 Free Bet to use on any sport

Free bets must be used within seven days of receipt. There are no limitations to how you use them (minimum odds, etc) but free bet stakes are not returned, and they can never be cashed out.

If you choose the casino offer with the NetBet promo code ‘NBWELCOME50’ then as soon as you make your deposit you will receive 50 free spins. Over the next six days you will receive a random number of free spins, from 0 to 75. This means that the minimum number of free spins you can receive is 50, and the maximum is 500 (50 + (6 x 75)). There is no guarantee you will receive 500 free spins. Free spins last for seven days and winnings from free spins must be wagered 40x over within seven days before they can be withdrawn.

Other NetBet Sports Promotions

If you have wagered a minimum of £5 over the past four days at NetBet you will receive a spin on NetBet’s ‘Wheel of Sportune’. This contains free bets from £0(!) up to £20. You are limited to one spin per day as long as you qualify. Free bets won via the Wheel of Sportune must be used within seven days but come with no other limitations.

The £5k Jackpot game at NetBet is free to play as long as you have placed a bet at NetBet. Each week four football games are selected and players must predict the correct score from each. Anyone who gets 4/4 wins £5,000 cash (if more than one gets 4/4 the jackpot is shared). There are consolation prizes too – 3/4 wins a £20 free bet and 2/4 gets a £5 free bet. Free bets are non-withdrawable and must be used within seven days.

NetBet is one of several football betting sites that settles football bets as wins as soon as the side backed takes a two-goal lead, and acca wins can be boosted up to 50 per cent cent depending on the number of legs. Check the NetBet betting site for details, and for the latest news about NetBet promotions.

NetBet Casino Bonus Details

NetBet seems to more generous about promotions when it comes to the casino, as is often the case. Here are quick details of the promotions the site was running for casino players at the time of this exclusive NetBet review.

  • Big Bass Bonanza Free Spins: The slotting world seems to be going crazy for this slot at the moment and NetBet is joining in. If you use the NetBet bonus code ‘LUCKY100’ with a minimum £20 deposit at the site you’ll receive 100 free spins on BBB!
  • Millions of Starburst Spins: Everyone loves Starburst, whether it’s the slot or the sweet. Here, if you wager a million of £10 in real money on Starburst or Starburst XXXtreme you’ll get to click on the Starburst star on your promotions tab. This will award you a number of free spins with x40 wagering. This process can be repeated once every day until the promotion ends.
  • Games Global Summer Special: This is NetBet’s annual slots tournament. Bet at least 10p on selected Games Global slots to qualify for the leaderboard and the more you win from the selected slots, the higher up the leaderboard you fly. There’s over 24,000 prizes totalling £500,000 to be won! Check out the promotions tab at Netbet to check which games are eligible.
  • Daily Bonuses: There’s a different bonus each day available at NetBet – the Monday Club, Tuesday Maracas, Thursday – Gods & Prizes, Mystery Friday and Free Bet Saturday. Check the promotions page to see what each of these deals entails.

As you can see, NetBet is pretty hot on casino bonuses. We must tell you though that these were the promotions available at the time of this NetBet review. Always check the site’s promotions pages to get the latest hot casino and sports betting bonuses.

NetBet Key Features

All the leading betting sites have plenty of key features that are aimed to keep their clients coming back time and time again whenever they want to place their sporting wagers. We are now going to walk you through all the key features you are going to find after signing up at NetBet.

Main Site Features

You have five sections to head to if you sign up at NetBet. There is the sports betting site, the casino, the live casino, lottery betting and poker. As we are guessing you are mainly going to be interested in the NetBet sports betting side of things, that is what we are going to be looking at. We’ll examine the casino and live casino a little later and look briefly at lottery betting, but poker is something you can investigate for yourselves.

Opening up the sports betting side of NetBet you’ll find the normal sports betting layout – menu on the left, the leading markets centre and your bet slip and a few promotional bets to the right. You can easily gain access to the £5k Correct Score Jackpot game via the menu, and all that day’s top football markets. Horse racing, cricket and tennis are all covered in the main menu and you can find the full A-Z of sports below it.

Live Betting

Live or in-play betting is accessible by the ‘In-Play’ button on the top menu. If you click on this the middle section of the NetBet sports betting site will change over to highlight all the live events currently happening that you can bet on. It will also display the most pertinent odds, which for football are 1X2, total goals over/under and BTTS yes/no.

The secondary menu in the middle of the screen will allow you to switch between the different live sports. The leading sports at NetBet for live betting are football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, volleyball, cricket, futsal, table tennis and eSports, but any event NetBet deems worthy for live betting will be represented.

Click on any particular contest to see all potential live betting markets. You also get a nice graphical display of the live action for some sports.

Early Cash Out

Cash out allows you to take full control of your stake and betting, and is available on all single and combo/acca bets at NetBet. You can cash out a bet you have placed at any time at NetBet, even before the event has commenced if you want to get your stake money back.

The main idea behind cash out is to get returns even if you think your bet is going to lose. You can cash out a losing bet to get some money back, or you can cash out a winning bet if you think the bet is not going to win once the final whistle (or hooter, or buzzer) has sounded.  If you are thinking of cashing out at NetBet, open up the bet on your slip and see if you’re happy to accept the cashout returns.

Live Streaming

Plenty of leading sports betting sites have live streaming, mainly of non-UK football matches and UK and Irish horse racing plus tennis, darts, basketball and so on. The question here is, does NetBet have live streaming?

The answer is surprising … no! There is no live streaming at NetBet. We feel that this is because NetBet does not have that much of a presence in the UK, and live streaming is monopolised by companies that do, such as bet365, William Hill, Ladbrokes and so on.

Bet Builder

So, the next question is, does NetBet have a bet builder tool? If you’re new to bet building, a bet builder is a tool that allows you to place an acca-style bet on a single sporting contest, combining elements of that contest (final score, half-time score, player props) into a single bet. You can get good returns from low stakes if your bet builder wins.

We are happy to report that NetBet not only has a bet builder but ‘Bet Builder Quick Bets’ which are pre-set bet builder bets you are probably going to be interested in. The NetBet bet builder seems to be available on most sports, which stands NetBet in good stead above plenty of other sports betting sites that only allow bet builder bets on football.

Promotions and Loyalty Program

We’ve already talked through the promotions available at NetBet, including the NetBet welcome offer, the Wheel of Sportune and the 5k Free to Play Correct Score contest. There are all the promotions at the casino too – remember to always check out the promotions pages at the site for the latest information.

For sports, NetBet does not run any kind of loyalty program which, in our opinion is no great loss as we consider them not to be very responsible gambling friendly. For the casino, there is the ‘Players Club’ which you check out if you are interested, but we humbly remind you to take care when chasing rewards as you could end up gambling more than you intended.

Responsible Gambling Tools

NetBet has a phenomenal range of responsible gambling tools which is really impressive. In fact, we know of no other betting site that has so many on-site tools – deposit limits, loss limits, bet limits, reality checks, session timers, time outs, self-exclusions, fair gaming questionnaires and even an affordability calculator. We are extremely impressed, to say the least. You can of course self-exclude globally via GAMSTOP.

On top of all this information, NetBet also offers links to GAMSTOP, GamCare, Gambling Therapy, Gamban and BeGambleAware.

What You Can Bet On at NetBet

The sports betting arm of NetBet has plenty of markets you can bet on, from the popular to the obscure. The table below outlines the markets usually available for betting at NetBet.

American Football Aussie Rules Baseball Basketball Beach Volleyball
Boxing Chess Cricket Cycling Darts
eSports Floorball Football Formula 1 Futsal
Golf Greyhounds Handball Horse Racing Ice Hockey
Lacrosse MMA Motorbikes NASCAR Pesaallo
Politics Rugby League Rugby Union Special Bets Speedway
Table Tennis Tennis Virtual Sports Volleyball

The NetBet Betting App

There is no information anywhere on the NetBet sports betting site about apps, and even if you type ‘apps’ into the help centre search tool you get nothing back, so does NetBet even have apps? The answer is yes – two! There are separate NetBet mobile apps for sports betting and casino play which is ideal if you are only interested in one side of this sports betting company.

netbet app

However, it is not all good news as the app is only available for Android, and no equivalent iPhone/iPad NetBet mobile apps exist. You don’t have to miss out on NetBet mobile betting though if you have an Apple-flavoured device as you can access the NetBet site using a mobile browser. In fact, you can do this on Android too but we recommend getting the app. All the aspects of the desktop site are available on the NetBet app including placing bets and managing your account.

NetBet Payment Methods

You will have no problems in getting money into or out of your NetBet account. The site accepts numerous payment methods including one we’ve not seen elsewhere – Yaspa. Yapsa, we have found out, was ‘Citizen’ until 2023, and links merchants and clients via online banking, just like Trustly, so you don’t need a Yaspa account to use it. The alternatives are the usuals – Visa & MasterCard debit cards, PayPal, PaysafeCard, ecoPayz, ApplePay and GooglePay. You will find full details of all available payment methods at NetBet listed below. Remember that to claim the NetBet welcome offer, you must use a debit card.

How Safe is NetBet?

We have already mentioned that NetBet has a completely unblemished UKGC record which, given the habit of the UKGC of handing out sanctions for even minor misdemeanours, is no mean feat. We have also already mentioned NetBet’s outstanding array of responsible gambling tools, all designed to help you keep your gambling sensible. It also goes without saying that NetBet uses all the tools at its disposal to encrypt any data you send it and that it sends you, so you are safe there too.

We just wish NetBet was a little more transparent about itself. We appreciate that not all companies have to tell you everything about them on the internet, but there’s nothing about the company behind NetBet, other than when they were formed, and where they are based. Some sources claim they are a Spanish company, but it’s impossible to verify that.

NetBet Casino Review

NetBet can offer punters a top-notch casino with plenty of leading games from all the best providers. The list of software providers is really good, with first-class names such as NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Eyecon, Play’n GO, NYX and Spinomenal. It also has many up-and-coming software developers too, including Iron Dog and RubyPlay. You will find all your favourite games here, plus games you might never have found before, so you’re in for a treat!

netbet casino

The range of slots at the NetBet casino is impressive, including all the latest slots plus jackpot slots like Relax Gaming’s Dream Drop Diamonds and NetEnt’s Mega Fortune. All of RTG’s Megaways slots are available, as are the slots in Pragmatic Play’s ‘Drops & Wins’ series where you can be awarded random cash prizes. Table games are covered too including blackjack, roulette and baccarat, although the table game options are not as numerous as slots. The live casino is powered by Evolution and Pragmatic Pay plus a small handful of games from BetGames.

netbet lottery betting

Lottery betting is available at NetBet too, but perhaps not as you were expecting. This is a live keno/bingo-style gameshow where you can bet on the numbers being plucked from the machine each time. Just choose your balls and wait for the next draw. Draws take place every four minutes.

Our Final Verdict

There is a huge amount to like about NetBet, and we’re of the opinion that it’s a betting site in the UK that more people should be aware of and should be using for their sports betting needs, and perhaps their casino needs too. It has plenty of markets, an exemplary compliance record and some great policies such as paying out winning bets should the side you back go two goals up in football.

Not all is brilliant though – the lack of live streaming is disappointing, and we would like to see NetBet be more transparent about themselves. Other than that there is very little you’ll be disappointed about when you use the NetBet gambling site after claiming your NetBet welcome offer.
