However, he will do it privately, not publicly.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am, but I&#8217;m just going to keep that in house,&#8221; Tomlin said via <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/C_AdamskiTrib\/status\/1847323921479283024?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1847323921479283024%7Ctwgr%5E36f1c60eba293c63e60f34f39f608cfbcf1452a2%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sportscasting.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost-new.php\">Chris Adamski<\/a>. &#8220;But I thought [Wilson] was sharp. I thought Justin [Fields]\u00a0was sharp as well. I thought we had a highly productive week from both guys and from the unit as a whole.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Is this pure gamesmanship from Tomlin, or can he not make a definitive decision? It&#8217;s unknown.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportscasting.com\/news\/should-pittsburgh-start-wilson-or-stick-with-fields\/\">Steelers<\/a> wide receiver George Pickens might have tipped Tomlin&#8217;s hand. However, Wilson suffered a calf injury in the days leading up to Week 1, and Fields became the starter.<\/p>\n<p>Fields has started all six games this season, going 4-2 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/stats\/_\/id\/4362887\/justin-fields\">1,106 passing yards, five touchdowns, and one interception<\/a>.
