Will the Giants rookie play in Week 7?<\/p>\n<h2>Malik Nabers Clears Concussion Protocol<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Malik Nabers was evaluated by the independent neurological consultant this afternoon and has cleared the concussion protocol.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; New York Giants (@Giants) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Giants\/status\/1847024911912423721?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 17, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, the<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Giants\/status\/1847024911912423721?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1847024911912423721%7Ctwgr%5E31d4a68a5eaada23886d0aa326a7695aa60cbbcd%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sportscasting.com%2Fwp-admin%2Fpost.php%3Fpost%3D1601062action%3Dedit\"> Giants announced that Nabers cleared concussion protocol<\/a>, making him eligible to play in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>Nabers suffered a concussion after his head hit the turf in a Thursday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys on October 3. Nabers has been out the past two games because of the concussion.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being a full participant at practice on Thursday, Nabers is also dealing with a groin problem.<\/p>\n<p>Before the injury, Nabers was statistically one of the best receivers in the NFL. The rookie has 35 receptions for 386 yards and three touchdowns. Nabers quickly became quarterback Daniel Jones&#8217; favorite target, averaging 13 targets per game.<\/p>\n<p>With Nabers back in the lineup, Darius Slayton moves to the No. 2 receiver while Jaylin Hyatt moves back to the bench.<\/p>\n<h2>New York Giants Dealing With Numerous Injuries<\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Giants OT Andrew Thomas (Lisfranc surgery) expected to be out for the season.
