Team Europe are the Laver Cup 2024 winners after a brilliant final day comeback saw them claim the title for the first time in three years.

Carlos Alcaraz was the star of the show after he sealed a straight-set win against American Taylor Fritz. His victory sealed a 13-11 triumph against Team World in Berlin.

Four-time Grand Slam champion Alcaraz openly voiced his concerns about the busy ATP tennis schedule on September 21. However, he was at his imperious best as he cruised past Fritz 6-2, 7-5.

The Spaniard’s victory confirmed the Laver Cup would return to Team Europe. But is was German Alexander Zverev’s 6-7 (5-7) 7-5 10-5 win over American Frances Tiafoe that helped make it possible.

This win reduced Team World’s lead to a single point and forced the deciding match which Alcaraz won. After the win, the 2024 Wimbledon champion shared his delight at bringing home the cup.
