Former Chelsea player Victor Moses has joined Championship side Luton Town on a free transfer – ending his three-year playing career at Spartak Moscow.

Victor Moses Transfers To Luton Town On A Free

33 year-old Victor Moses, who has played for top Premier League football sides Chelsea and Liverpool, has ended his three-year playing days at Spartak Moscow to join Luton Town on a free transfer.

The Victor Moses transfer was possible as he became a free agent in the summer when he left the Russian side – having joined them on loan from Chelsea back in 2020.

Luton, who has won only one point from their opening four games since dropping back into the Championship, will welcome the experience Moses will bring to Kenilworth Road.

The Hatters will face Millwall away on Saturday in their next league game, with Moses looking to be involved.

Moses Played 70 Times For Spartak Moscow

During his time at Spartak Moscow, Victor Moses racked up 70 appearances for the Russian side – scoring nine goals.

His spell started from 2020 to 2021 on loan and joined the club between 2021 and 2024.

With his contract expiring in the summer and not being renewed, Moses became a free agent. Which is why Luton were able to sign him outside the transfer window.

Moses also has 38 caps (12 goals) playing internationally for Nigeria.

Moses Played 87 Times For Chelsea

Moses started his career in South London with Crystal Palace, where he played 58 times and scored 11 times. He then left in 2010 to join Wigan.

At Wigan, Moses notched 74 appearances and scored 8 goals, but it was then Chelsea that won his signature in 2012 – signing him for £9m.

He went onto play 87 times for the Blues (7 goals), before being sent out on loan to Liverpool during the 2013-14 season.

Luton Town will become the seventh English football side Victor Moses has played for.
