Gunther dropped the “heel” character work for the occasion and congratulated Aspinall on his success.
“From one heavyweight champion to another, it’s my pleasure to meet you and congratulations on the success,” Gunther said before shaking the UFC champion’s hand.
The “TKO 3” then posed for a photo, and the crowd erupted in cheers as the three champions stood together in the ring.

As Rhodes and Gunther shook hands, Aspinall suggested that they should settle their differences right there and then, rather than waiting for November 2nd, drawing another pop from the crowd.
The appearance marked a unique crossover between the two major combat sports organisations, UFC and WWE, which are both owned by the same parent company, TKO.
