Tiger Woods’ Son and Donald Trump’s Granddaughter Team-Up For District Golf Championship Win
It was an unlikely matchup – but Charlie Woods, who is the son of golf legend Tiger, and Kai Trump, the granddaughter of a certain former US president, teamed-up to help their high school win the district championship in Florida.
Charlie Woods Following In His Father’s Footsteps
Charlie Woods will have a golf mountain to climb if he’s to beat he is to beat his dad’s haul of 15 Major titles – but the 15 year-old seems to be on the right path.
Over the weekend of October 26th-27th, Tiger Woods’ son Charlie was part of the Benjamin School golf team that landed the district championship – with the six-man team winning the event at the Champions Club in Florida.

Tiger Woods won the US Amateur title three times between 1994 and 1996 and went onto win 82 PGA Tour Events.
However, despite still playing, Woods (senior) will now surely be getting excited about son Charlie’s career ahead.
Golf fans first saw Charlie at the 2020 PNC Championship, when he played alongside Tiger – and since then has played at the parent and child PNC event three more times.
Kai Trump Was Also Part Of The Benjamin High School Golf Team
Plus, in an added twist to the story, the Benjamin High School’s girls’ golf team were also winners – and their side had former US President Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai Trump (17) playing.
Trump is, of course, a big lover of golf and is often seen playing with his granddaughter.

Charlie Woods – His Golf Career So Far
In addition to his three PNC appearances, Charlie Woods has also played in many junior events in Florida over the last two years (2023/24) on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.
Charlie Woods grabbed his first win on the HJGT at Royal Palm Beach – beating the field by a stonking eight strokes.
Since then, Charlie Woods has made his American Junior Golf Association debut when featuring in the Adam Scott Junior Championship, where over the three round event, scored a consistent 73-73-72.
Back in July, Charlie Woods also attracted a big crowd following when playing in his first US Junior Amateur event.
However, his appearance in the AJGA came a year after his dad’s – with Tiger Woods making his debut at the age of 14 as a US Junior Amateur – winning it three times.
In contrast, Tiger Woods is still on the sidelines after undergoing back surgery for a sixth time in September – and at this stage it’s not known when the former world number one will be back in action on the golf course.
