Erling Haaland - Premier League

Erling Haaland, the Manchester City goal scoring machine, is set to hit 100 Premier League goals in April, with five games to spare before the end of the season.

That’s according to SportsCasting who asked their AI Supercomputer to predict when Manchester City striker Erling Haaland could score his 100th Premier League goal.

Erling Haaland Scores 100th Premier League Goal THIS Season – It’s More Bad News For Everton, Predicts Supercomputer

Manchester City are already flying this season after just three games and look like they could be almost impossible to stop once again. Pep Guardiola’s side have three wins from three Premier league games so far, with their main man Erling Haaland netting seven times already in just three games. Not to mention scoring two consecutive hat-tricks already too.

That means that Haaland now has 70 Premier League goals to his name in just 69 league appearances. If he keeps that insane record up, he could well be on course to hit the 100 goal mark before the end of the season.

With that in mind, we asked AI to predict when exactly the Norwegian striker will score his 100th goal for Manchester City in the Premier League, and whether or not it could be before the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

According to the AI Supercomputer, the prolific 24-year-old will indeed hit 100 Premier League goals before the end of this current season. Haaland needs another 30 goals this season to achieve the feat, which seems highly unlikely for the majority of players. However, Haaland is different. He has proved he can score 30+ goals, as he has done the last two seasons, so this is certainly achievable for the City bagsman.

Haaland To Score 100th Premier League Goal Against Everton Before End Of Season

Given that Erling Haaland requires 30 more Premier League goals to hit 100, he has 35 games to do so this season. At his current rate, he is averaging just more than one goal a game. This would mean he could well hit the 100 goal mark in 30 games time.

Provided Haaland stays fit and doesn’t suffer any injury setbacks, he could net his 100th goal at Goodison Park in Gameweek 33 against Everton. As if the woes for the Toffees couldn’t get any worse, they could be on course to witness a demolition job at the hands of Pep Guardiola’s side, with Haaland hitting his 100th goal against the struggling Merseysiders.

Of course, the way the prolific Norwegian is scoring this season, he could even hit 100 Premier League goals well before April time. Seven goals in three games this season works out at over two goals a game, so at that rate Haaland could even hit 100 goals before the New Year!

Although this is a bold prediction by our Supercomputer and requires Haaland to have his best season in front of goal, it most definitely isn’t beyond the realms of possibility. The best UK sports betting sites think it is an achievable feat.

This is Erling Haaland we’re talking about here – a goal scoring machine.

Supercomputer Predicts When Erling Haaland Will Score 100th Premier League Goal

Erling Haaland is on an incredible scoring run. With 70 Premier League goals in 69 appearances, he’s averaging slightly more than one goal per game. To reach 100 goals, he needs 30 more goals. At his current pace, if he maintains this average, he could score those 30 goals in approximately 30 games.

Assuming he continues scoring at this rate and plays consistently throughout the season, Haaland could realistically hit 100 Premier League goals by the end of this season. If not, he will definitely achieve it early next season.

Manchester City play Everton at Goodison Park in their 33rd Premier League game of the 2024/25 campaign. Should Haaland continue his incredible scoring form and score roughly one goal per game, it is likely he will hit the 100 Premier League goals mark for City against Everton, before the end of this season.

Commentary

Lee Astley, Head of News at SportsCasting, commented on the Supercomputer prediction of when Erling Haaland will score his 100th Premier League goal, saying:

“If AI has got this right, then Erling Haaland could be on for a 40 goal season in the Premier League this campaign. He already has seven in just three games, including two hat-tricks, so you certainly wouldn’t put it past him scoring another 30 before the end of the season.

“Scoring 70 goals in 69 Premier League games is quite something, and if he keeps netting at least one goal per game on average then he will hit 100 before the end of the season. Not only is this a huge shout from AI, but it actually seems like it’s achievable for someone as prolific as Haaland.

“The rest of the Premier League may hope this Supercomputer prediction doesn’t come true, or else it could be another title heading to the Etihad for the fifth successive season.”

Methodology

Combining the likes of ChatGPT, Gemini and Bing AI, a prediction was formulated by artificial intelligence (AI) to predict when Manchester City striker Erling Haaland could hit 100 Premier League goals.

The prediction was formulated using AI after providing prompts such as his goals to game ratio in the Premier League, how many games are left in the season, how many hat-tricks he has scored and whether he stays injury free all season.
