Stat Shows Jadon Sancho Thriving At Chelsea, Leaving Manchester United Wondering What Could Have Been
Jadon Sancho’s impressive performances since joining Chelsea on loan have raised questions about Manchester United’s decision to let him go.
Sancho’s Assist Tally Proves Man United’s Loss, Chelsea’s Gain
The 24-year-old, who was once considered a future star for the Red Devils, found himself out of favour at Old Trafford under Erik ten Hag.
Following a public fallout and a loan spell at Borussia Dortmund, Sancho was eventually loaned out to Chelsea, with the Blues having an obligation to buy him on a permanent basis next summer for around £25 million.
Since his move to Stamford Bridge, Sancho has adapted swiftly to his new environment. His three assists in the Premier League this season have already surpassed the combined assist tally of several key Manchester United players, including Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, and Alejandro Garnacho.

Sancho Reacts To Stamford Bridge Debut
Speaking about his Stamford Bridge debut after Chelsea’s 4-2 win over Brighton, Sancho expressed his delight at settling into the team and contributing to their success.
“I thought I started off a bit slow, but I feel like I grew into the game,” he said. “I managed to win the penalty, and I got the assist for Cole, so I’m happy to be able to contribute.
“Overall, I was just happy to play at Stamford Bridge for the first time as a Chelsea player. It was a great feeling, and I really appreciated the reception I got from the fans.
“I’m happy to have been able to assist for goals in recent games; I’m settling in well here, and I just want to keep this momentum going and keep being able to assist my teammates. Or even get a first goal, that would be nice!”
As Chelsea prepare for their Europa Conference League opener against Gent, Sancho is expected to be a key player for the Blues. His performances so far have highlighted the potential that Manchester United may have missed out on by letting him go.
