Scottie Scheffler Earnings Top $50m This Season After Lucrative 2024 FedEx Cup Win
World-ranked number one golfer Scottie Scheffler has capped his fine season by adding the lucrative TOUR Championship FedEx Cup to his name – and in the process took this career earnings in 2024 to over $50m and counting.
Scottie Scheffler Becomes First Golfer To Win More Than $50m In A Season After FedEx Cup Win
28 year-old Scottie Scheffler is having a golf season to remember with eight wins that include a second Masters and also an Olympics gold medal – while he also became the first golfer to win more than $50m in a season when taking the Tour Championship in Atlanta in early September.
Scheffler started his first round East Lake round on -10 and ended with -30, which saw him four clear of the second Collin Morikawa, with Sahith Theegala back in third.
In the process Scheffler, who was the number one seed in the event, bagged the full $25m FedEx bonus, with Morikawa scooping $12.5m and Theegala $7.5m – you can see the full final FedEx Cup 2024 standings and winnings below.
2024 was the third year in-in-a-row that Scheffler had entered the event as the number one seed, but the first time he’d ended up winning.
Scheffler Won A Second Masters and Olympic Gold Medal This Season
This rounded off a season, that’s not finished yet, that included a Masters win – his second at Augusta – plus a historic gold medal at the Paris Olympic games over the summer.
Scheffler made the cut in all 19 Tour events too and has been the world’s number one golfer for 67 straight weeks and now 102 weeks in total – this ranks him fifth of all time.
There could be more Scottie Scheffler earnings to come too.
This is because at the end of the year the PGA will also pay out a $50m Player Impact Program bonus – with the winning player, which Scheffler is a big favourite, netting $10m of that pool.
