Newcastle have earned a place at the top of this list, with the Saudi PIF contributing a huge part to the £478 billion net worth.

In 2021, the Saudi PIF, alongside RB Sports & Media, PCP Capital Partners, took over the Magpies and have seen huge progress in the last three years.

Eddie Howe’s side have qualified for the Champions League, reached the EFL Cup final and added a host of star names – inlcuding the likes of Alexander Isak, Kieran Trippier and Anthony Gordon.

There is a huge gap between first and the remaining nine, but Manchester United, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Chelsea make up the rest of the top five.

Both Manchester sides continue to be the most profitable clubs in the country, alongside Liverpool, but Pep Guardiola’s squad have seen the most success – winning a treble, four consecutive Premier League titles and dominating English football in recent years.

United and Chelsea have struggled to reach the heights of the past, with the Blues appointing several managers and Erik ten Hag continues to struggle at Old Trafford – despite winning the FA Cup last season.

Aston Villa’s rise has been one of the biggest in English football, competing in the Champions League for the first time this season after finishing fourth in 2022/23.

A surprising factor of this list is Ipswich Town’s position above Arsenal, with the Tractor Boys owners boasting a wealth of £10.8bn.

Kieran McKenna’s side have made their way up the English football pyramid, earning consecutive promotions form League One to the Premier League.

Similarly, Arsenal have made huge progress in recent years under the control of Mikel Arteta, pushing Manchester City for the title in consecutive years.

West Ham, Liverpool and Fulham make up the final parts of this list, with the club from Merseyside beginning a new era under Arne Slot following the departure of Jurgen Klopp.

The London-based duo, West Ham and Fulham, have established themselves as Premier League outfits in recent times after extended time in the Championship.
