Former Real Madrid Star Embroiled in Paternity Scandal After Getting Tattoo of Ex-Girlfriend’s Newborn Daughter’s Name
Former Real Madrid player Vinicius Tobias has found himself in an awkward situation after getting a tattoo dedicated to his ex-girlfriend’s newborn daughter, only to discover later that he is not the father.
The Brazilian full-back, who spent two years on loan at Los Blancos, is currently playing in the Ukrainian Premier League with Shakhtar Donetsk.
On October 8, his ex-girlfriend, Ingrid Lima, welcomed their daughter Maite into the world. To celebrate, Tobias decided to get Maite’s name tattooed on his arm, along with the phrase “te amo,” which means “I love you” in Portuguese.
However, just a week later, Lima took to Instagram to reveal that Tobias is not the father of her daughter.
She explained that after their breakup, she had gotten involved with another man, and the DNA test had confirmed that Maite was not Tobias’ child.
“Vinicius and I haven’t been together for a while,” Lima said in her statement. “During that time, I was in a relationship with someone, and so was he. We both moved on with our lives.
“In the meantime, Maite came along. We decided to do a DNA test, and Maite is not Vinicius’ daughter.”

The news has come as a shock to Tobias, who is just 20 years old and had signed for Real Madrid’s academy after the war in Ukraine prevented him from playing for Shakhtar Donetsk.
He made just one appearance during his two years in the Spanish capital before finally making his debut for Donetsk this season.
