The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.

Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew found 2-1 Doncaster scorer WHIRL on Friday and has three more recommended bets/trades on Saturday, September 14th…

LEOPARDSTOWN 2.15

The Ger Lyons-trained MUTASARREF has a fine strike-rate (nine wins from 20 starts) and has won narrowly on his last three visits to Leopardstown, including a Group 3 win over this one-mile trip on his latest outing. The six-year-old’s full course record reads 21438111 (4-8), with the runner-up effort by a nose. His course record when ridden prominently stands at 14111 (4-5) and I’m expecting Colin Keane to sit just behind the pace before laying down a challenge inside the final furlong in a race that looks set to be run at a strong gallop. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back MUTASARREF in Leopardstown 2.15

DONCASTER 2.25

The 5f89y Symphony Group Handicap – the opening race of York’s Ebor meeting last month – featuring a very strong draw bias, favouring those berthed low. The first five finishers came from stalls 6, 7, 2, 3 and 8 of 22 and those drawn high were always struggling to get involved. Richard Fahey’s VINTAGE CLARETS, eighth overall, fared second best of the 11 runners to race on the unfavoured stands’ side and will be happier on today’s slower going. He ran well in this race 12 months ago, finishing a 25-1 fifth of 22, and he could benefit from a patient Jamie Spencer ride. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back VINTAGE CLARAETS in Doncaster 2.25

DONCASTER 3.40

YOU GOT TO ME benefitted from the switch to more patient tactics when landing the Irish Oaks from Content at the Curragh in July and she had excuses when the winner reversed the form at York last month. There was a strong track bias at the Ebor meeting, favouring those who raced far side in the straight, but Hector Crouch stayed wide and was always on the slowest part of the track, doing well to finish just three-quarters of a length back in second. The step up the extended 1m6f of the St Leger will suit and a patient ride could be just the ticket, assuming one or two of the Aidan O’Brien-trained contingent put pace to the race. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Back YOU GOT TO ME in Doncaster 3.40
