The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.

Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew found 11-4 Newmarket winner SPRING BLOOM on Friday and has three recommended bets/trades on Saturday, August 17th…

CURRAGH 1.45

LUNIGIANA lines up in this 5f Listed contest on the back of three defeats but she placed in all of them, finishing a 22-1 second of 15 to subsequent Group 1 Phoenix Stakes winner Babouche in a 6f Cork maiden on her debut, going down by just half a length when third of 13 in a 5f fillies’ maiden at Naas and doing best of the closers when a 7-1 third of 19 over 6f at The Curragh when taking on the boys for the first time. The likely stronger gallop in this better-quality race will suit and she is likely to be finishing to good effect. Buy at 11 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Back LUNIGIANA in Curragh 1.45

DONCASTER 3.07

ALBESEEINGYER, so often ridden patiently, bolted up by five lengths at Newmarket last week when more prominent tactics were adopted. Steph Hollinshead’s five-year-old has form figures of 11119 (4-5) when bidding to follow up a win, with the defeat excusable as she looked ill at ease on the left-handed track at York last spring (she hasn’t been asked to race that way round since). Her record in handicap company on straight or right-handed tracks reads 51111136451 (6-11) and she often goes off at a value price thanks to her unfashionable connections. She’s won over course and distance before, and the form of her latest win was franked when the third won the 2.50 at Epsom yesterday. Buy at 16 in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price (5-1 at the time of writing).

Recommendation: Back ALBESEEINGYER in Doncaster 3.07

DONCASTER JOCKEYS

CALLUM SHEPHERD has a good book of rides at today and he can be bought at 19.5 in the DONCASTER JOCKEYS market with Spreadex. His day gets underway with LADY OF ARABIA for Eve Johnson Houghton in the 1m2f handicap (2.32), who will appreciate the fast ground and professional handling after doing too much too soon in an amateur riders’ handicap at Newbury last time. GUY FAWKES makes his debut for George Scott in the 3.07 and though a big price (around 12-1 at the time of writing), his new handler has won with four of his last eight stable switchers and could pick up points. BORN TO ROCK is another who has moved from Jane Chapple-Hyam to George Scott and this speedy front-runner will appreciate the return to 5f and fast ground for the first time since her juvenile debut success. Shepherd’s final ride – FLAG CARRIER – holds obvious claims in the 5.25. He fared best of the closers when third to the progressive Salamanca Lad at Sandown last time and has now run two big races since upped to this 1m trip.

Recommendation: Buy CALLUM SHEPHERD in Doncaster Jockeys
