Martin Odegaard Back To Full Training In Big Champions League Boost For Arsenal
Here’s the latest Martin Odegaard injury update as the Arsenal captain returns to full training ahead of Wednesday night’s Champions League clash with Inter Milan.
Arsenal have been handed a huge boost ahead of Wednesday’s European fixture, with skipper Odegaard pictured back in training.
The Norwegian international has been out since picking up an injury in September with his national team.
But after what must feel like ages to Gunners fans, their talisman appears ready for a return.
The midfielder has been pictured taking full part in training with the rest of the Arsenal squad, with the team’s social media accounts keen to show him back fit.

Arsenal have struggled in Odegaard’s absence. Recent defeats to Bournemouth and Newcastle have seen them slip to fifth in the Premier League table, seven points below leaders Liverpool.
Reports suggested Odegaard was close to a return for the defeat at St. James’ Park, but manager Arteta opted not to risk the captain so soon.
But having trained with the squad on Tuesday, Odegaard appears in line for a return against Inter Milan this week.
The news can not come sooner for Arsenal, with a massive London derby against Chelsea on Sunday.
If the Gunners are to re-assert their title credentials, they will need their man to hit the ground running upon his return.
Martin Odegaard Injury Update A Major Boost With Others Out
Ahead of the Newcastle defeat, Mikel Arteta confirmed both Odegaard and defender Riccardo Calafiori would miss out, while Ben White made it onto the bench.
He said: “Riccy and Martin are out definitely.
“With Ben [White] we don’t know yet. He could not train so let’s see what happens.”
White should be fit enough to start against Inter, but Calafiori is not expected to feature.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) and Kieran Tierney (hamstring) are also out, so Arteta’s options in defence will be extremely stretched.
But with Odegaard returning, there is room for optimism. A 0-0 draw with Atalanta was followed by wins over PSG and Shakhtar Donetsk to get the Gunners firing in Europe, and another win would see them well on their way to qualification.
Inter, meanwhile, have beaten Crvena Zvezda and BSC Young Boys after drawing at Manchester City.
