The Arne Slot era begins at Liverpool in 2024/25 with an awat fixture at Portman Road against Ipswich Town, with the Dutchman eager to carry on the brilliant work of Reds legend Jurgen Klopp. 

Slot will need to hit the ground running to quickly win over the Anfield faithful. He will inherit a squad that is quite literally a mixture of youth and experience. 

The likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson and Andy Robertson are all on the cusp of their twilight years. 

However, Slot will have an abundance of youngsters to rely upon. Namely in the shape of Conor Bradley, Harvey Elliot, Ben Doak and Jarell Quansah. 

Slot is yet to make his first signing since taking over the hot seat earlier in the summer. He will likely look to strengthen in all areas of the pitch. 

Liverpool begin their 2024/25 Premier League season at newly-promoted Ipswich Town. The Reds will conclude their campaign on home soil against Crystal Palace.

Liverpool League Cup Fixtures 2024/25

The League Cup follows a similar process to the FA Cup, with Liverpool, along with England’s other six European representatives, entering the competition in the third round. Again, there are no firm dates for the draw as of now, however a televised draw will likely take place upon the completion of the final second round tie.
