Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce have agreed a deal to sign Juventus winger Filip Kostic, becoming Jose Mourinho’s 12th signing at the club.

Filip Kostic Closes In On Fenerbahce Move

Fenerbahce have been busy in the transfer window so far this summer and Kostic is set to be the next one, with five days left until deadline day in Turkey.

It is understood that the versatile Serbian will join on a season-long loan, but Fenerbahce will have the option to make the move permanent next summer.

Kostic can play anywhere down the left-hand side so is sure to be a big part of Mourinho’s new look squad. The 31-year-old has been a Juventus player for the last two seasons, making 87 appearances during that time.

The Portuguese manager tried to sign Kostic when he was in charge at Roma, but the deal failed to surface. Fast-forward a year and Jose has his man.

As previously mentioned, Mourinho has been very busy during his first summer in charge of Fenerbahce.

He has already acquired the likes of Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla, Cenk Tosun from Besiktas, Allan Saint-Maximin from Al-Ahli, Caglar Soyuncu from Atletico Madrid and Rade Krunic from AC Milan.

Lots To look Forward To For Jose Mourinho & Filip Kostic

The Turkish side have made a solid start to the new season, with three wins and a draw from their opening four league games. They’ve scored 11 goals and conceded just twice in the process.

Fenerbahce will also get their Europa League campaign underway in the next few weeks. Then a trip to Old Trafford awaits in October where Mourinho will bid to get one over on his old side.
