Jai Opetaia Next Fight - Boxing

Jai Opetaia’s next fight takes place on Saturday, October 12th at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The unbeaten Australian fighter defends his Ring Magazine & IBF World Cruiserweight Titles against Jack Massey. But who will Opetaia’s next fight be against after that?

After the Massey fight, who will Jai Opetaia’s next fight be against, when and where will it take place?

Jai Opetaia Next Fight: When Is Jai Opetaia vs Jack Massey?

Boxing fans are in for a treat as arguably the best cruiserweight in the world is back in action very soon. Jai Opetaia’s next fight takes place on the latest Riyadh Season card at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia on October 12th.

Opetaia, who currently boasts a record of 25-0 with 19 knockouts, defends his Ring Magazine & IBF World Cruiserweight Titles against Britain’s Jack Massey on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol.

For Jai Opetaia’s next fight, the Australian fighter goes in as the overriding favourite wit the best UK betting sites to win. Not only is Opetaia expected to win the fight, but he is tipped to win in devastating fashion via knockout against ‘One Smack’ as well.

Massey of course will be confident of pulling off the upset, but the best betting apps in the UK don’t give him much of a chance of dethroning the elite Aussie fighter.

The fight will be the second or third fight prior to the huge Beterbiev vs Bivol contest on October 12th in Riyadh, with Opetaia looking to make a statement and throw his name into the hat for huge unification bouts at cruiserweight in 2025.

Jai Opetaia could well be the best 200-pound fighter on the planet. Boxing fans will hopefully find this out once and for all in the next 12 months.

Could Opetaia’s Next Fight After Massey Be The Chris Billam-Smith Unification Bout?

Should Jai Opetaia get past Jack Massey on October 12th, he could well face the winner of Chris Billam-Smith vs Zurdo Ramirez in early 2025. This seems like the obvious fight to make for the undefeated Aussie boxer, who will certainly have one eye on Billam-Smith vs Zurdo on November 16th.

If Opetaia gets through Massey in his next fight, then the Billam-Smit unification is certainly one fight that makes total sense for the undefeated Australian boxer.

Opetaia’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, would likely want to make the Billam-Smith or Zurdo Ramirez fight next for his man. It is most definitely a winnable fight for Opetaia, who will have his sights set on becoming undisputed king of the 200-pound division by the end of 2025.

Another option for Jai Opetaia’s next fight could be a unification with the other world cruiserweight champion too. Noel Mikaelian currently holds the WBC World Cruiserweight Title, and could be another potential opponent for Opetaia’s next fight.

If His Excellency Turki Alalshikh continues with his heavy involvement in boxing, either of these potential unifications could happen next.

The best boxing betting sites in the UK would likely favour Opetaia to beat any of the other champions at cruiserweight. However, these big fights are all meaningless if Opetaia’s next fight against Jack Massey goes horribly wrong.

Time will tell who Jai Opetaia’s next fight is against after Jack Massey. A move to heavyweight may also be an option for Opetaia in the not so distant future too, should he mop up all the belts at 200-pounds first of course.
