Bayern Munich frontman Harry Kane bagged his 50th goal for the club and in doing so etched his name into European history.

Regarded as one of the greatest strikers of his generation, Kane is a household name across the globe.

During Tuesday’s Champions League outing against Dinamo Zagreb, the England international scored his 50th, 51st, 52nd and 53rd goals in just half a century of games for the club.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, Kane also became the most clinical Englishman in the history of the Champions League with his 33rd goal in the competition.

The 31-year-old surpassed former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney’s record of 30, taking yet another record away from the current Plymouth Argyle boss.

In March 2023, Kane surpassed Rooney as England’s all-time record goalscorer with a first-half penalty against Italy during the Three Lions’ Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.

Despite Kane’s continued wait to put his hands on some silverware, it surely can’t be long and the best football betting sites fancy Bayern’s chances in a number of competitions.

The German giants are a fourth-favourite 12/1 to win the Champions League, 2/5 for the Bundesliga and 6/4 to lift the DFB Pokal.

The former Tottenham Hotspur captain has enjoyed a stellar start to the season in Munich, with four goals and two assists in his first three league appearances.

He also netted twice over the international break in England’s 2-0 Nations League win over Finland at Wembley, cementing his name as the planet’s most clinical forward.
