Although they are Ngannou’s two biggest UFC purses, his biggest payday for an MMA fight came in his PFL debut. Ngannou reportedly pocketed $8 million for his Round 1 demolition of Renan Ferreira in October 2024, which could even rise to $10m. He is also reportedly guaranteed $12 for his next PFL fight, whenever that may be.

It is being widely reported by various sources that Ngannou received a $10 million purse for his boxing debut bout with ‘The Gypsy King’ on October 28th (source: Daily Mail). This was more than Ngannou had made throughout his entire MMA career prior. Quite staggering.

The astronomic fight purses don’t stop there for Ngannou. He reportedly took home somewhere in the region of $20 million for his boxing clash with Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia, despite being knocked out in just two rounds by ‘AJ’.

It just goes to show the disparity in pay between elite boxers and UFC fighters. Ngannou earned $30 million in two boxing fights, which is six times more than he earned in his entire MMA career prior to joining the PFL.
