Tottenham fan ‘Expressions Oozing’ has provided an angered response to Spurs’ 1-1 draw against Leicester City on Monday night, claiming that Ange Postecoglou’s side ‘threw the game away’.

Despite adding the likes of Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray, and Wilson Odobert to their ranks over the summer, Tottenham were unable to get their season off to a strong start, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by newly promoted Leicester on the opening weekend of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

The early signs all pointed towards a comfortable evening for Spurs, with the majority of possession and chances going their way, as well as Pedro Porro opening the scoring just shy of the half hour mark. As Tottenham fans have come to realise in recent seasons though, the game was far from over.

This was because 37-year-old Jamie Vardy drew the Foxes level at the King Power 12 minutes into the second period, and although Spurs continued to have the better share of the statistics, the spoils were shared in the Midlands.

Fans of the North London side weren’t shy in sharing their disappointment and anger at the result on social media, none more so than ‘Expressions Oozing’, who provided a seething rant for his 350,000 YouTube subscribers, claiming that Postecoglou’s side ‘threw the game away’.

Expressions Oozing Reacts To Leicester 1-1 Tottenham

Speaking to his social media followers immediately after the full-time whistle, Expressions made it clear that he was unhappy with the result: “Leicester City – one, Tottenham – one, and I’m not happy, fam.

“Last season, we struggled to open teams up. We had all the possession, and we did nothing. We needed to add starters to our team: I’m talking calamari, popcorn shrimp, chicken wings fam –  we needed starters all summer!”

Expressions continued his rant by highlighting how much Spurs have spent during the transfer window and the fact that just one of their new signings started the fixture against Leicester on Monday.

“Tottenham have spent over £150 million, nearly £200 million, and only Dominic Solanke started blud – and don’t tell me that the others ain’t ready bro, because if that’s the case then we’ve spent all of our money on kids.

“It’s the same old! We dominate possession, but we create as much as a man with a vasectomy, or we have chances, but we’re just wasteful! Leicester weren’t good, but it’s the same old.”

He then referred to Postecoglou’s comments on wanting to challenge for silverware and claimed that they won’t be able to do so unless they sign some ‘main eventers’ before the transfer window draws to a close.

“Ange said that he wants to challenge bro. He says in his second season that he always wins things. What are we challenging for? An under-21’s trophy? Because I’m telling you, we’ve signed bare kids fam.

“We need to add some main eventers to this squad; I’m talking Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes blud, but no, we’re out here shopping in NXT. I want to know where the ambition is; 1-1 ain’t good enough; Leicester will probably end up going back down.”
