England will be looking to build on their perfect start under interim boss Lee Carsley when they take on Greece at Wembley Stadium on Thursday.

Carsley oversaw back-to-back 2-0 wins against Ireland and Finland as the Three Lions got their UEFA Nations League campaign off to a flyer in September.

However, those victories weren’t enough to put Carsley’s side top of group B2. That spot is taken by the Greeks who celebrated 2-0 and 3-0 wins in the first round of fixtures.

A victory on Thursday will see the Three Lions leapfrog their opponents. Something of which the best football betting sites in the UK firmly believe will happen. Carsley’s side are currently 7/1 to beat the Euro 2004 champions 3-0.

Ahead of the clash at Wembley, the England vs Greece head-to-head stats further indicate that Carsley’s side will have no trouble picking up the points on offer.

Across their nine previous encounters, the Three Lions have won seven and drawn twice. You have to go back 18 years for the last time they met. John Terry, Frank Lampard and Peter Crouch (2) scored in a 4-0 friendly win.

Another notable feat is the England vs Greece squad values. Not only are Carsley’s side worth approximately nine times more, the Three Lions have one player who has a higher individual market value than the entire Greek team.

That player is midfield maestro and Real Madrid star, Jude Bellingham. The 21-year-old is currently valued at £151 million. Ivan Jovanovic’s squad is valued at £142 million.
