Daniel Cormier has reacted to the latest update from Dana White about the potential return of the ‘notorious’ Conor McGregor.

The former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight champion has commented on the latest news revealed by Dana White surrounding Conor McGregor’s return to the cage.

Dana White took to his Instagram live stream, which he has become infamous for when revealing updates on the UFC and revealed the latest on a host of fighters.

During the stream, the UFC CEO confirmed that their will be huge news surrounding Alexander Volkanovski, Charles Oliveira, Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor.

White said:“We talked about Conor today. We’ve got Conor news coming up, we’ve got Oliveira news coming up, we’ve got  Chandler news coming up, we’ve got Max Holloway news coming up.”

Fans have now been speculating the possible return of McGregor, after his fight against Chandler was cancelled due to injury.

Daniel Cormier has also reacted to the news, as the former UFC fighter turned commentator discussed the possibility of the notorious fighting in Vegas towards the end of 2024.

Cormier said (Per, Daniel Cormier’s YouTube channel): “He said that Conor was not gonna fight in this calendar year. Still, there is no card for December. Vegas is where the fight card will take place in December. Conor McGregor needs to fight in Vegas. He will fight Michael Chandler seemingly.

“So, it seems as though when the boss went public instead and started to say, ‘Well, this guy is not fighting’, it almost lit a fire in Conor McGregor. It seems like we’re getting closer and closer.”

UFC 310 is set to go ahead in the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, and the main event is yet to be confirmed which may leave space for the return of Conor McGregor.
