Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has issued a bold challenge to YouTube megastar MrBeast, vowing to surpass his subscriber count within two years.

Ronaldo Explains Decision To Set Up YouTube Channel

The 39-year-old Portuguese superstar, known for his competitive spirit and relentless pursuit of records, has recently made waves in the digital world with the launch of his own YouTube channel.

Within just 90 minutes of its debut, Ronaldo’s channel gained a staggering one million subscribers, a feat that took MrBeast, the current leader in YouTube subscribers, 28 days to accomplish.

In a press conference ahead of Portugal’s upcoming Nations League fixtures, Ronaldo outlined his reasons for creating the channel and his ambitions for it.

As he approaches the end of his illustrious football career, Ronaldo recognises the importance of maintaining a strong bond with his fans.

“My purpose in this was to be closer to my fans; I think they deserve it,” Ronaldo explained. “What impressed me most at the European Championships was the support.

“The next two or three years will be the end of my career, and what they showed me was the most important thing.”

Ronaldo Aiming To Beat Mr Beast’s YouTube Subscriber Count

With his competitive nature in full force, Ronaldo has now set his sights on surpassing MrBeast’s record-breaking subscriber count. The Portuguese legend believes that his channel can achieve this ambitious goal within the next two years.

“Subscribers and records… you have to put these things into perspective, but I want to beat them. Everything in its own time, and I feel that the fans are happier now, and my first interpretation of this, a few months ago, was to be closer to them, and I am very pleased to do so.

Ronaldo added, “Mr Beast on YouTube? In two years, let’s try to beat him.”

As Ronaldo continues to grow his YouTube presence, it remains to be seen whether he can truly challenge MrBeast’s dominance on the platform.

However, given Ronaldo’s track record of achieving seemingly impossible feats, it’s clear that he won’t be easily deterred from his latest endeavour.
