The 17-year-old’s incredible winner saw Black Cats supporters heap praise on the academy product via X, formerly Twitter. One user simply replied with ‘filthy.’

Rigg’s intuitive back-heeled finish means Regis Le Bris’ side returned to winning ways after their surprise defeat at Plymouth on September 14.
