Bukayo Saka Injury Update

The latest Bukayo Saka injury update is a worrying one for Arsenal fans as their star man has left the England camp after he came off injured in the defeat to Greece.

Bukayo Saka Injury Update: Gunners Star Out Of England Squad

During England’s defeat to Greece on Thursday night, Saka limped off injured in the second half, appearing to show discomfort in his right leg.

Much to the worry of Arsenal fans, Saka has left the England camp and will return to Arsenal for further tests. Interim Three Lions boss Lee Carsley gave an update on his injury after the game, saying: “He’s been assessed but in the build-up to the first goal you could see he’d felt something in his leg.”

This looks to be the third international break in a row that the Gunners are set to lose a key player. The last two have saw them lose captain Martin Odegaard and now Saka could be a doubt for their next game.

England’s squad for the Finland game on Sunday is looking rather slim though, with Kobbie Mainoo, Morgan Gibbs-White and Ezri Konsa also withdrawing earlier this week. Curtis Jones came into the camp as a replacement for those mentioned, but will not travel to Helsinki due to personal reasons.

The Three Lions will look to bounce back from their agonising defeat to Greece when they take on Finland, with their squad worth 40 times more than their opponents.
