After losing the north London derby to Arsenal, the Wales international has scored four goals in as many games. Johnson will once again be vital to the Lilywhites chances on Sunday afternoon.

Leading marksman Joao Pedro is definitely ruled out for Brighton with an ankle injury. Matt O’Riley and Jan Paul van Hecke are also set to miss the matchday squad.

However, veteran James Milner is likely to return.  Brajan Gruda, Joel Veltman and long-term absentee Solly March could all be contention for the visit of Tottenham.
