The superb Brennan Johnson stats show no signs of slowing as the red-hot Tottenham forward equalled a record held by club legend Harry Kane against Brighton on matchday 7.
Johnson scored the opener against the Seagulls as Spurs threw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 on the south coast to Fabian Hurzeler’s side.
Despite Johnson’s heroics, Ange Postecoglou was left fuming as the Lilywhites four-game winning run in all competitions came to an end in spectacular fashion.
James Maddison got himself on the scoresheet in the first-half before the north Londoners fell apart in the second period. Yankuba Minteh, Georginio Rutter and ex-Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck with the goals.

Brennan Johnson Stats Prove He Is Tottenham’s Main Man
Despite Tottenham‘s shocking collapse, the Brennan Johnson stats continue to impress. His sixth goal in as many games across all competitions matched Harry Kane’s streak set in January 2019.
Most notably, Johnson has scored more goals in this run than he managed in the entirety of last season. However, Spurs failed to climb up to 6th in the Premier League table.
For hosts Brighton, they continue their excellent start under Fabian Hurzeler. The German boss is the youngest gaffer in England’s top flight and he has fitted in to his new role with considerable ease.
