There are 14 Breeders’ Cup races spread over Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd of November – but with the action staged at Del Mar racetrack in California there is a SEVEN HOUR time difference for those wanting to watch in the UK and Ireland.
This means Breeders’ Cup viewers in the UK and Ireland will need to set their clocks with the races starting at 9:45pm on Friday (GMT) and 7:00pm on the Saturday.

The 41st Breeders’ Cup action gets going on Friday 1st November with the Juvenile Turf Sprint at 9:45pm – that includes several UK and Irish runners – Aesterius, Big Mojo, Whistlejacket, Magnum Force, Shareholder, Arizona Blaze and Ides Of March.
There are five Breeders’ Cup races on the Friday in total (see below) that end with the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf – which actually runs into early Saturday morning if living in the UK or Ireland.

See below the UK and Ireland Breeders’ Cup race times for the 2024 meeting on Saturday. With the first race set to be shown at 7pm (GMT).
There are nine Breeders’ Cup races on the day, with the Breeders’ Cup Classic the main event that carries the most prize money £2,866,142.
The Classic, which will be run at 9:41pm, also has plenty of attention in the UK and Ireland with the Epsom Derby winner City Of Troy looking to give trainer Aidan O’Brien his 19th Breeders’ Cup winner. But his first in this historic US race.
