Aston Villa Fans Are Fuming At The Cost Of UEFA Champions League Home Tickets
Aston Villa supporters have been left raging at the cost of tickets for their four home games in the UEFA Champions League this autumn.
The club has received fierce backlash from loyal fans after prices were announced on Wednesday (September 4). Many labelled the costs as ‘disgusting.’
Villa will embark on their first journey in Europe’ elite club competition since 1983. Subsequently, Unai Emery’s side will entertain Bayern Munich, Bologna, Juventus and Celtic at Villa Park.
However, many will struggle to attend owing to the huge cost of a ticket. The news comes after the club announced that the cheapest adult ticket in the Premier League will be £44.50.
Aston Villa Champions League Tickets
The minimum cost of an Aston Villa Champions League ticket for adults comes in at an eye-watering £85. Meanwhile, season ticket holders will be charged £70.
In terms of maximum cost for adults, they can be expected to shell out £97. Again, season ticket holders will have to pay ‘just’ £82.
Currently, the best betting sites in the UK price Villa at 66/1 to win the UEFA Champions League this season. Therefore, making the vast ticket costs somewhat insulting to loyal supporters.
Fans Left Ragging At Extortionate Home Ticket Costs
Naturally, Aston Villa fans were quick to highlight their frustrations at the hugely inflated home Champions League ticket costs.
Unsurprisingly, Villans supporters turned to X, formerly Twitter, to vent their thoughts and feelings. One user said the club scored a ‘spectacular own goal.’
Another fan said that the club ‘don’t care’ and that the ‘games gone unfortunately.’ A third user displayed his anger by suggesting that ‘the club is taking the p*ss.’
Overall, it is understandable why so many Villa fans are perplexed by the expensive ticket prices. Especially when many stuck by them during their three-year spell in the EFL Championship.

When Villa increased Season Ticket prices again this Summer, I battled apologists who used the UCL Football argument…
This is why that point is null and void 👇
£94 ad-hoc and £79 for ST Holders 🤢

Fair play to Aston Villa for what they have achieved on the pitch but this is a spectacular own goal and a major disservice to season-ticket holders. They will have to pay a minimum of £70 a ticket to watch them play in the Champions League this season. https://t.co/YfdoezEAlB

You are ruining OUR club! pricing fans out who have been loyal through good times and bad. £95 for CL tickets to stand in piss is outrageous and not in line with any other CL club!!! How do working families afford this ??? #astonvilla #UTV #ripoff

How about sorting the pricing out? The prices you have released today for our home CL games are a disgrace. The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool are cheaper than ours. Sort it out.
