Arsenal defender Ben White has revealed that he’s considering an unexpected career path once he hangs up his boots.

Ben White Hints At Starting Dog-Walking Business

White, who has previously opened up about how he doesn’t exactly live and breathe football, has admitted that he’s not eager to stay involved in the sport after his playing days are over.

In an interview with former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster for Amazon Prime, White expressed his desire to pursue a different path.

“Obviously after football, I don’t really know what to do yet, but I was actually thinking about being a dog walker,” the 27-year-old said. “Yeah, I swear… pick them up; perhaps get a little van and doing something like that.”

The Arsenal defender, who is known for his laid-back personality, explained that he’s not interested in the traditional post-retirement roles of punditry or coaching.

“I don’t need too much; I’m quite simple. I don’t want to be a pundit or a coach,” he said.

Ben White Fashion Brand

While White may not be planning a post-playing career in football, he has already ventured into another field.

Alongside his former Brighton and Hove Albion youth teammate Jason Davis, he has co-founded the fashion brand Fraternite. The duo started the brand as a way to offer affordable clothing options.

Explaining the project further, White said, “Me and my mates have started a fashion brand, and we have done that for a year now, so we are keeping it small at the moment. We started it off because of how expensive stuff is.

“Trying to get a tracksuit is like £200, but we have looked at that and they only cost £6 to actually make it, so we wanted to make it affordable and give people something nice to have and not make loads of money off it.”

As White continues his playing career at Arsenal, it remains to be seen whether he will ultimately pursue his dog-walking aspirations or explore other opportunities.

Arsenal travel to Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday with the aim of continuing their title charge.
