Arne Slot - Liverpool

Arne Slot could make history on Saturday afternoon with a win at Anfield against Brighton. A Reds victory would see Slot pick up the most wins by a Liverpool manager in their first 10 top-flight games in charge of the club.

Arne Slot Could Make Liverpool Managerial History With Win Against Brighton

Ahead of the next round of Premier League fixtures, SportsCasting have been doing their research and have discovered that Arne Slot could make history with a win against Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds host the Seagulls at Anfield on Saturday afternoon (3pm kick-off), with Arne Slot’s side looking to remain top of the Premier League table with a win.

If Virgil van Dijk and co do secure all three points, not only will they remain top of the league, but the gaffer will make history too. That’s right, Arne Slot is on the brink of breaking a long-standing record of previous Liverpool managers.

Having won seven of their opening nine Premier League games under the Dutchman, a win against Brighton would see an eighth league win of the season since Slot’s summer arrival on Merseyside.

Victory at Anfield on Saturday afternoon would see Slot pick up the most wins by a Liverpool manager in their first 10 top-flight games in charge of the club.

Has Arne Slot Exceeded Expectations At Liverpool Already?

After Jurgen Klopp‘s departure, it was always going to be a near impossible job to find a manager to fill the void left by the German in the dugout.

However, Arne Slot is doing a good job of proving he was the right man for the job, and could even go on to deliver more silverware and trophies for the Reds. It is early days of course with the league campaign still fresh, but the feeling amongst Liverpool fans is one of hope and real optimism.

Should Slot make history and become the first Liverpool manager ever to record eight wins in their first 10 top-flight games, it’s another box ticked for the Dutchman.

The best football betting sites in the UK have Slot’s Reds as favourites to beat Fabian Hurzeler’s side, but it certainly won’t be an easy task. Ironically, Liverpool’s sole defeat of the season actually came at Anfield last month against Nottingham Forest. A tea, they were favourited to beat, just like Brighton this weekend.

Regardless of whether Arne Slot makes Liverpool managerial history this weekend or not, it has been a terrific start to his reign as Reds boss. Time will tell just how well the season will end come May, but for now Liverpool are in the driving seat with Slot at the wheel.
