Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy The 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Favourite

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Prize Money 2024: Winners Earnings And Full Purse Breakdown

Ahead of the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship this week the best golf betting sites in the UK, are making last week's Open de Espana runner-up Jon Rahm one of the favourites - with world-ranked number three Rory McIlroy also strongly fancied.

Rahm, who was the LIV Golf individual winner this season has been playing in the last few DP World Tour events in order to rack up some Ryder Cup points for next year's event.

The Spanish big hitter, however, has never won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Rory McIlory will head to St Andrews, a course he loves, as a three time runner-up in this event - but, like Rahm, is still to win the Alfred Dunhill.

McIlroy has also hit the headlines in recent months for finishing a close second in both the Irish Open and BMW PGA Championship when seemingly holding every chance of winning.

Many feel, in his current form, Northern Ireland's number one golfer can go one place better this weekend and the best betting sites in the UK agree.

The 2023 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Was Won By Matt Fitzpatrick

As well at Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy there will also be a whole host of other big names at St Andrews - including two time Alfred Dunhill winner Tyrrell Hatton and 2018 runner-up Tommy Fleetwood.

Ireland will rest their main hopes on Shane Lowry, while Scot Robert MacIntyre will be hoping to win the big event in his homeland.

But golf fans will also get a chance to see last year's winner - Matt Fitzpatrick on show, as he looks to join other repeat winners Tyrrell Hatton, Colin Montgomerie and Padraig Harrington.
