After completing the 92 challenge, legendary talkSPORT anchor Adrian Durham has revealed his favourite football ground in English football.

The lifelong Peterborough United supporter has been a host on the award-winning radio station since 1999. Collating an army of loyal listeners in the process.

Now, Durham has ticked off a bucket list feat that many football fans can only dream of. The 55-year-old turned his ambition into reality after attending Fleetwood Town vs Morecambe on September 23.

An enthralling 2-2 draw at the Highbury Stadium ensured Durham has now visited every current venue in the top four tiers of English football.

Adrian Durham Declares West London Ground As His Favourite In English Football

There are four sides who all call west London their home but Adrian Durham’s favourite is highly debatable. He didn’t opt for the likes of Premier League teams Chelsea’s, Fulham’s or Brentford’s stadia.

Instead, Durham opted for Loftus Road as his favourite in English football. The home of EFL Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

The Super Hoops moved to the venue in 1917 and have enjoyed many ups and downs over the years. Durham explained it is his favourite owing to the atmosphere and the location.

I went to QPR v Crystal Palace in the League Cup and it reminded me how much I loved it. It’s in the middle of a housing estate in London. The corners are filled in, it’s tight to the pitch,” Durham explained after declaring it his no 1.

I just absolutely love it. It’s another one where the atmosphere, when they’re doing well, is fantastic. That’s how a ground should be, right in the middle of a residential area. I love it.”

Just Four Current Premier League Teams Make Adrian Durham’s Top Ten

In term’s of the four Premier League entries, Villa Park came in 4th with St James’ Park 5th and Craven Cottage 6th. Nottingham Forest‘s City ground completed the quartet by placing 9th.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Peterborough fan Adrian Durham opted for Posh’s Weston Homes Stadium in 3rd with Elland Road taking the runner-up spot.

I lived and worked in Leeds so I went quite a lot and looking at parts of the outside of it, I would say you’re taken back to the 70s because it feels like nothing’s changed,” explained the talkSPORT legend.

So you’re back there with Don Revie and Billy Bremner and all that. I think it’s got a wonderful nostalgic charm and there’s a history there and it’s a one-club city.

In terms of match atmosphere, Leeds are no.1.”
