One of the hottest prospects in British boxing is set for his toughest test to date, as Adam Azim’s next fight is close to being confirmed for the Copper Box Arena on October 19th.
According to The Ring Magazine, Azim will face Davies in what is by far the toughest test of his career and a huge step up in class from his previous opponents.
Adam Azim Next Fight: Could It Be Ohara Davies?
Seven months on from his last fight, Adam Azim could be back in action as soon as next month. The European Super-Lightweight Champion was last in action back in early February, where he was seen blasting through Enock Poulsen in five rounds to retain his EBU 140-pound belt.
It has been a quiet period since then for Azim, despite several rumours that he could be facing Harlem Eubank. However, that fight seems to have fallen through with ‘The Assassin’ now rumoured to be fighting a different British fighter next.
According to The Ring Magazine, a reputable source, reported by iFLTV, Adam Azim’s next fight could be announced very soon against Ohara Davies. The bout is rumoured to be set for the Copper Box Arena on Saturday, October 19, headlining a Sky Sports/Boxxer show.

At just 11-0, this fight on paper is a huge step up for Azim, who hasn’t fought anyone at Davies’ level as of yet. Having secured eight knockouts in his 11 pro boxing fights, Azim will be confident of winning the fight in style, but Davies is more than capable of pulling off the upset.
Compared to Azim’s 11 bouts, Davies has fought 28 times as a professional, boasting an impressive record of 25-3 which includes 18 wins via knockout.
However, ‘Two Tanks’ will be coming into the fight off the back of a Round 1 knockout defeat last time out. Timing is everything in boxing, and this could be the perfect time for Azim to secure the biggest name on his resumé yet.
But write off Ohara Davies at your peril, he will be supremely confident of upsetting the apple cart and ripping up the script for Adam Azim’s next fight.
