Paddy Pimblett Next Fight - UFC - Paddy The Baddy

Paddy Pimblett’s next fight is yet to be announced in the UFC. ‘The Baddy’ was last seen submitting Bobby Green in Round 1 of their 155-pound contest in July at UFC 304, but when will he be back in action and who will be fight?

Paddy Pimblett Next Fight: When Is ‘The Baddy’ Back In Action?

Paddy Pimblett it one of the biggest names in UK MMA, of that there is no doubt. Despite being just 29-years-old and not having fought for a UFC Title, ‘Paddy The Baddy’ boasts an impressive 22-3 record as of today, which includes 16 stoppage finishes. 10 via submission and six via knockout.

UFC fans last saw Paddy Pimblett in action back in July at UFC 304 in Manchester. Pimblett faced the toughest test of his career and was tipped by many to even taste defeat for the first time in the UFC, but that couldn’t have been any further from the truth.

Instead, ‘Paddy The Baddy’ put in a career-best performance in his Round 1 submission victory over Bobby Green. Pimblett sent to new Co-Op Live Arena into raptures with his devastating performance, with UFC President Dana White even handing Pimblett a $200,000 bonus for his emphatic victory.

In regards to Paddy Pimblett’s next fight, there has been no official announcement as of yet. However, several fighters would snap Dana White’s hand off for the opportunity to become the first man to defeat the 29-year-old in the UFC.

Names such as Dan Hooker, Renato Moicano and Benoit Saint Denis to name but a few. In terms of when fans can expect to see Pimblett back inside the octagon, the Liverpudlian is aiming to to fight before the end of the year in Las Vegas.

No matter who Pimblett’s next fight is against, the best UK betting sites will likely have him down as the favourite. Given how dominant he was in his last fight at UFC 304 and how good he looked against Bobby Green.

Paddy Pimblett vs Renato Moicano Next?

When asked about his next fight, Paddy Pimblett has revealed that in a perfect world he fights again before the end of the year. If not, then a fight in early 2025 is a must for the Liverpool based fighter.

“I think the only card that I could possibly fight on [this year] is December again in Vegas. But, nothing has been said at the minute,” revealed ‘The Baddy’ in a recent interview with Cage Warriors.

It is no secret that Pimblett’s next fight would ideally be against Renato Moicano in a perfect world, with the Liverpudlian hoping that fight can happen next, regardless of whether Moicano wins his next fight or not.

“I know Moicano is fighting [this] week, but I can’t see him coming back soon enough for December, so it could end up being next year, early next year,” added Pimblett.

The best UFC betting sites in the UK would likely favour Moicano to defeat Pimblett if that fight were to happen,. However, Pimblett has plenty of doubters in his last fight and went on to win in emphatic fashion. You wouldn’t put it past him going and doing the exact same thing once again.

Could Paddy The Baddy’s Next Fight Be For The UFC Lightweight Title?

After his latest victory at UFC 304 back in July, Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett was elevated into the Top 15 of the UFC lightweight rankings for the first time in his career. That was Pimblett’s sixth win in the UFC, which includes one knockout, two decisions and three submission victories.

Given that he is now ranked 14th in the division, behind fighters such as the champion Islam Makhachev, Dustin Poirier, Charles Oliveira and Justin Gaethje, a big fight is almost certainly next for ‘Paddy The Baddy’.

Although he is a big name and now a ranked fighter, there is no chance at all that Paddy Pimblett’s next fight will be for the UFC Lightweight Title. Islam Makhachev has a few more contenders to defeat before Pimblett earns his shot.

However, in 12 months we could well be sitting here talking about Pimblett as a genuine 155-pound title contender in the UFC. For now, Makhachev has the UFC Lightweight Title firmly in his grasp, and looks highly unlikely he will lose it anytime soon as well.

Lets hope Paddy Pimblett’s next fight goes his way and UK MMA fans can continue to watch his rise up the UFC lightweight division all the way to the very top.
