Jackson scored the games opener after just four minutes. The Senegalese star cruised through a stagnant Hammers defence before slotting home through Alphonse Areola’s legs.

“Nicolas Jackson second goal is a masterclass on creating space. How he gets the defender out of position and gets in there is top level. Even better than the finishing itself,” Ba said.
