Joshua vs Dubois Prediction

Joseph Parker is certainly no stranger to the power and presence of the competitors in Saturday night’s all-British showdown, and the WBO interim champion has weighed-in with his Joshua vs Dubois prediction.

Jospeh Parker Offers Up His Joshua vs Dubois Prediction

The anticipation is palpable as the boxing world gears up for its latest heavyweight spectacle, this time with two-time unified champion Anthony Joshua going up against IBF title holder Daniel Dubois.

Over 96,000 people are expected at Wembley as world title-level heavyweight boxing returns to English shores, and there is plenty on the line for both fighters.

Anthony Joshua enters as the ever-so-slight favourite on UK betting sites. Hi re-build since bouncing back from successive defeats against Oleksandr Usyk has appeared increasingly convincing, and he can take a big leap towards an undisputed shot by claiming the IBF belt – becoming a three-time world champion in the process.

As for Daniel Dubois, the London-born IBF champion was elevated to the belt after Usyk vacated it, rather than fulfilling his mandatory obligations. Seven years Joshua’s senior gives him the edge in terms of youth, and he will be looking to make it 22 wins out of 24 across a blossoming career.

Pro predictions have been aplenty this week, all attempting to decipher what may transpire between Joshua and Dubois on Saturday night.

One man who knows more than most is Joseph Parker who relinquished his WBO title to Joshua – who won by unanimous decision – back in 2018.

That fight marked the first time Joshua was taken the distance, but Parker believes the now-34-year-old will get the better of Dubois at Wembley.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Parker said: “Both guys possess power, so both of them can knock your lights out at any time.

“Joshua though, he has got height and reach, and when I fought him back in 2018 he used that to his advantage.

“I feel like Dubois has a good jab, and in his last two fights he has shown grit and determination – he showed the dog in him that we didn’t think he had. He’s now IBF world champion, so let’s see if he belongs at this level.”

When prompted as to who he thinks will win the fight, Parker said: “Joshua within seven rounds – I feel like he looking very powerful and dangerous.”
