Anthony Joshua is well and truly back and is widely regarded as one of the best heavyweights on the planet right now. If you want to know a bit more about AJ’s personal life, read on to find out more. This includes who his girlfriend is and who the mother of AJ’s child is.

Who Is Anthony Joshua’s Girlfriend?

Boxing fans all around the world want to know a little bit more about AJ’s personal life. Fans have various questions about Joshua’s personal life, including who the mother of his child is and who Anthony Joshua’s girlfriend is.

Here at SportsCasting, we aim to answer those questions in this article!

Although his boxing career is very public and in the mainstream media, it’s safe to say Joshua’s personal life is very private. Despite his popularity, there is very little known about AJ’s personal life.

However, one thing we do know is that Joshua has a young son named Joseph. The 34-year-old’s son is probably around seven-years-old now, with Joshua regularly putting videos and photographs on social media of him and his son.

The mother of Joshua’s child is a woman called Nicole Osbourne.

Who Is Nicole Osbourne?

Despite having a child, Anthony Joshua is in fact unmarried. Despite being unmarried and seemingly not in a relationship, Joshua did enjoy a previous relationship with a dancer and yoga instructor, Nicole Osbourne.

The pair were reportedly in a relationship for a couple of years, and had their son Joseph together. However, the former couple are no longer together, but do remain good friends. The former two-time heavyweight champion and Osbourne share custody of their child.

AJ’s split with Osbourne seemed to be amicable, with Joshua wanting to spend more time on his boxing career than outside of the ring. The man is boxing in the brain and probably found it difficult to balance home life and work life.

Although his relationship with Osbourne is no longer, the pair still get on really well and raise their child with the help of one another. It is likely that Nicole takes care of their son Joseph whilst Joshua is in training camp, or has to focus on his boxing in the lead up to a big fight.

Talking about being a dad, Joshua admits he is too soft when it comes to his son: “I started off as super-dad and then that slowly went out the window and to be honest he’s watching way too much TV now.”

Is Anthony Joshua Single Or In A Relationship?

Now that it seems Joshua is very much single and no longer in a relationship with Nicole Osbourne, does that mean he is on the hunt for a new lady friend? Not necessarily.

In an interview last year, Joshua admitted that he finds it difficult to juggle his personal life and boxing life when he is in camp. Hence why Anthony Joshua’s record continues to get better and better, further cementing his legacy at a British heavyweight great.

The British boxing superstar remains very sceptical as to whether he will have a girlfriend anytime soon, and instead wants to give the sport of boxing his full attention.

Talking about fully concentrating on boxing and leaving his personal life to one side for the time being, ‘AJ’ admitted that not everyone thought he was making the right call, but that ultimately his life and his career is solely down to him:

“Not everyone likes the decisions I make but I’ve got to make my own decisions. Decisions I make impact others. And my time training means there is not much time for girlfriends either,” Joshua said.
