The great thing about Spreadex is that offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences, of course, between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets.

Make the right call and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew successfully opposed DEQUINTO (5th, 9-2) on Thursday and has three recommended bets/trades at Ascot on Friday, September 6th…

ASCOT 1.50

As recently as Wednesday of this week, Ascot’s ground was described as ‘good (watered)’ but the meeting will commence on officially soft going. More rain is forecast, and we could be looking at genuinely heavy ground come post time (Saturday’s card could be in danger of abandonment). Few trainers arrive here in better form than Ian Williams (nine winners from 37 runners in the past fortnight), who landed the amateur riders’ handicap at Haydock yesterday with 15-2 shot Haliphon, and he can add Ascot’s opening lady amateur jockeys handicap to his impressive recent tally courtesy of LAW SUPREME. The five-year-old’s first seven runs since arriving in Britain from France last winter came on the all-weather and he appreciated the switch to soft ground at Bath back in April, scoring at odds of 10-1 and recording a good speed figure in the process. His only other soft-ground run for current connections came at Windsor last month where he went down by just three-quarters of a length in second place to progressive three-year-old Arkhalia Flynn and he can be bought in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market.

Recommendation: Back LAW SUPREME in Ascot 1.50

ASCOT 2.25

Gary & Josh Moore wouldn’t normally be associated with training juvenile winners at Ascot, but I like the claims of TOO SOON in this 7f maiden. The son of Too Darn Hot ran a promising debut at Goodwood last month, running green before keeping on into a best-of-the-closers 25-1 fifth of 11 behind Hott Shott. On breeding, today’s deep ground won’t be a problem – his sire’s progeny are profitable to back blind on actual (according to race times) soft or heavy going – and he’s worth a small buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or an each-way bet.

Recommendation: Back TOO SOON in Ascot 2.25

ASCOT 4.10

LOOK BACK SMILING’s three runs on soft or heavy going (based on race times, not the officially going verdict) have produced form figures of 21445114 (3-8) for a profit of £10.50 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those figures improve to 111 (3-3) on straight courses and Ascot, where he is running for the first time today in this 7f handicap, looks ideal for his come-from-behind style. The absence since mid-May is no concern, as he landed the Soring Mile at Doncaster first time out this term, and he rates a solid buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Back LOOK BACK SMILING in Ascot 4.10
