The ITV Racing coverage this week comes on Saturday 21st September with nine races covered across Newbury and Ayr.

You can watch the weekly ITV Racing free on their terrestrial channel. With the coverage changing over the ITV, ITVX, ITV3 and ITV4 channels each time.

The weekly ITV Racing can also be watched online or via their app on a mobile or tablet. Plus, all the ITV Racing is also available on catch-up if you miss the live action on ITVX.

ITV Racing also run a popular weekly competition on their show called the ITV 7.

ITV Racing – The History

In the past it was Channel 4 and the BBC that shared the UK horse racing coverage.

However, all this changed in January 2016 when Channel 4 lost their UK horse racing broadcasting rights after 32 years to the ITV network.

ITV Racing was then launched in January 2017 and remains the only terrestrial TV channel in the UK that shows horse racing.

Channel 4’s last broadcast day was on December 27th 2016. When it aired the Christmas horse racing from Kempton Park and also the Welsh Grand National from Chepstow.
