In recent weeks the experts are also predicting the ITV bosses to entice Coleen Rooney into the jungle.

We saw the other half of the ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial in 2017 when Rebekah Vardy stared in the show and if the rumours are correct, we could get the other half in 2024.

Mrs. Rooney has said if she did do a reality TV show, then I’m A Celebrity would be top of her list to add further flames to the jungle campfire.

SportsCasting’s Andy Newton commented – “I’m A Celebrity has already had one half of the ‘Wagatha Christie’ saga in the jungle, when Rebekah Vardy appeared in the show in 2017 – and, if the latest betting move is to be believed, we could be about to get the other half with Coleen Rooney hotly-tipped for a trip Down Under.

“Of course, Mrs Rooney hardly needs the ‘Dingo Dollars’, but she’s stated in the past if she was enticed to do a reality show, then I’m A Celebrity would be top of her list, which adds further fuel to the campfire flames.

“Plus, with Coleen’s kids much older now – and at the age when they can now enjoy their mum in the show – you feel the time might be right for Rooney to finally hit the back of the I’m A Celebrity net.

Over the year’s we’ve seen two I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here winners with a football connection – Harry Redknapp in series 18 and Jill Scott in series 22 – Peter Crouch will be hoping to become the third.

The former Spurs and England striker looks an ideal campmate for the ITV bosses to sign and if they do, we should see plenty of Crouchy robotics and also his feet hanging out of the camp bed.

Former Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse is another big name doing the I’m A Celebrity rumour rounds after an ITV insider said she’s a brilliant name for the show, hugely popular and well-liked by the ITV audience – they are said to be over the moon with the signing.

However, with nothing confirmed, they did go onto say any I’m A Celebrity contestant 2024 rumours are just speculation at this stage.

That said, not long after Mabuse added further meat to the bones story on her Instagram – saying there was an ‘exciting work project in the pipeline’ – could this be a trip to the jungle?

Phillip Schofield

After departing This Morning under a cloud last year after two decades, there are also I’m A Celebrity 2024 rumblings that Phillip Schofield is ready to make a TV comeback.

With pals Ant and Dec getting behind Schofield, then their hit jungle show looks an ideal route back for Schofield to step back out of the broom cupboard and back into the limelight in hope of relighting his career.

SportsCasting’s Andy Newton recently told the Express“Phillip Schofield, who left ITV under a cloud just over a year ago, looks ready to make a TV comeback – if his recent public sightings are anything to go by.

“It seems Schofield has been testing the water by stepping out of hibernation to gauge people’s reactions and with a string of celebs getting behind the former This Morning presenter – this will give him the confidence he needs to make a return.

“An easy route back to getting plenty of airtime is via one of the popular reality shows and with Schofield recently snapped laughing and joking with I’m A Celebrity’s Declan Donnelly – the I’m A Celeb offer on a TV comeback in the jungle doesn’t look the worst shout in the world.
