Brighton Forward Is The Most Transferred In Player By FPL Managers For GW4 After Arsenal And Manchester United Exploits
FPL gameweek 4 transfers have already seen over 420,000 managers draft in Brighton star Joao Pedro into their squads.
The Seagulls hitman scored a late winner against Manchester United on gameweek 2 before netting the equaliser against Arsenal a week later.
Only five forwards have registered more points than Pedro’s total of 18 so far this season. The Brazilian international has been added by exactly 429,458 gaffers as of September 2.
Naturally, Pedro’s early season exploits against the Red Devils and Gunners have seen his price rise to £5.7m. Many more managers are expected to include the 22-year-old ahead of the next round of fixtures.
FPL Gameweek 4 Transfers
With Joao Pedro currently leading the way in terms of FPL gameweek 4 transfers, Liverpool‘s Luis Diaz is also being included by managers.
His brace against Manchester United on gameweek 3 saw him accumulate an impressive 15 points. Seven days prior, he registered 14 points after starring against Brentford. So far, 355,904 managers have transferred the Colombian in.
Next up is Manchester City superstar and serial goal-getter Erling Haaland. Back-to-back hat-tricks have seen 351,713 managers bring in the Norwegian. Alongside Mo Salah, nobody has registered more points this season (41).
Aston Villa’s record signing Amadou Onana has hit two goals in three appearances in 2024/25. That alone has convinced 286,450 managers to include him for gameweek 4.
Completing the top five is Cityzens wonderkid Rico Lewis. Following on from his impressive early season form, Lewis has been picked by a further 241,777 managers.

Brighton’s Fixtures
Naturally, many predict Joao Pedro to continue his recent goalscoring form when Brighton take on Ipswich on September 14 at the Amex.
Especially that the Tractor Boys are expected to struggle in their first Premier League campaign since 2002. Their last away fixture saw them ship four to the champions on gameweek 2.
The Seagulls then face another relegation candidate in the shape of Nottingham Forest on home turf on gameweek 5. Pedro-managers will be quietly confident he can register more vital points.
A trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea follows on gameweek 6. Many will fancy Pedro to shoot down the Blues, considering he has proven himself against two UEFA Champions League contenders already.
Tottenham Hotspur travel to the Amex on gameweek 6. Their topsy-turvy form is likely enough to convince FPL managers to keep Pedro in the line-up against the Lilywhites.
