ADELAIDE BAY (system – New Bay 2yos, 7f+ on turf)

Juvenile progeny of top sire New Bay exceed market expectations when running over 7f on turf, landing 47 of their 220 starts (21.4% strike-rate) for a profit of £25.86 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 31.41, A/E = 1.50). ADELAIDE BAY looked badly in need of his debut outing when beating only one home over 6f at Windsor in May and was perhaps unsuited by the Polytrack surface when eighth at Chelmsford the following month. It’s possible that we won’t see the best of him until handicapping but the step up to 7f should bring improvement and he could go well at a big price.
