Ahead of the showpiece game of the weekend in the Premier League, our AI Supercomputer has predicted the outcome of Manchester United vs Liverpool on Super Sunday.

The AI Supercomputer has predicted that Arne Slot’s Reds will breeze past United, silencing the agitated Old Trafford crowd with an emphatic 4-1 victory.

AI Predicts Liverpool Will Thrash Man United As Salah and Diaz Shine

Liverpool are one of only four teams in the Premier League who have won both of their opening fixtures of the 2024/25 campaign. Arsenal, Manchester City and Brighton & Hove Albion are the only others.

Reds fans will be hoping this remains the case come Sunday afternoon, as Arne SLot’s side face a trip to bitter rivals Manchester United in the Super Sunday showpiece at Old Trafford.

Ahead of the match on Sunday afternoon, here at SportsCasting we asked our AI Supercomputer to predict the outcome of the game and give us a brief match report (see below).

Having done so, AI has generated it’s prediction and it’s not good news for Man United fans. AI is predicting that Virgil van Dijk and co will make it three wins from three, blitzing the Red Devils 4-1 in their own back yard on Sunday.

AI is predicting that both Mo Salah and Luis Diaz will be in the goals again, handing Liverpool their third league win of the season. Reds fans really are beginning to get excited about their team again under Arne Slot following Jurgen Klopp’s departure at the end of last season.

A win for Liverpool here will keep them hot on the heels of Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s City, who are both expected to win their respective games on Saturday. Be sure to check out our AI predicts West Ham vs Man City article too.

AI Supercomputer Predicts Man United vs Liverpool

The game started slowly, but Liverpool soon took control of proceedings, with Luis Diaz scoring two brilliant goals within 10 minutes of each other to put Liverpool in the lead.

The Columbian winger displayed excellent dribbling skills, pace, and finishing skills to put United’s defense in blatant disarray.

HT: Man United 0-2 Liverpool

United threatened a comeback early in the second half when Alejandro Garnacho scored a well-placed shot from just inside the box, but it was short-lived as Liverpool replied with two more goals.

One from the prolific goal scorer, Mo Salah, and the other from their captain Virgil van Dijk. Salah showcased his clinical finishing, while van Dijk displayed his aerial prowess to head home a corner kick.

After that, Liverpool did not let their foot off the gas, and it could have been more if not for several fantastic saves from Andre Onana in the Red Devils’ goal.

FT: Man United 1-4 Liverpool

It was a stunning performance by Liverpool, defeating their bitter rivals 4-1 on their own turf. The Reds thoroughly deserved of the win, showing the world why they are one of Europe’s best teams.

Manchester United, on the other hand, will be bitterly disappointed with their display and have much work to do before their next game.
