Iain Jardine has a fine record on turf with runners who scored on their latest outing, with those returned to the track within 20 days landing 68 of their 229 starts (29.7% strike-rate) for a profit of £58.97 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 47.70, A/E = 1.43). PARISIAC, who made all at Ayr last time, has a tricky wide draw to overcome but possesses the early speed to get across towards the stands’ rail and is worth chancing at odds of around 7-1.

George Scott has a fine recent record with geldings in handicaps on the all-weather, scoring with 32 of the 122 qualifiers since the beginning of 2022 (26.2% strike-rate) for a profit of £24.71 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 21.35, A/E = 1.50). MAXIMUM IMPACT, not best drawn when a 9-1 fourth at Newmarket on his latest assignment, looks a potential improver on his all-weather debut and can reward each-way support.
