Football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Crystal Palace have reached full agreement to sign Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal, in a deal worth £30 million.

Fabrizio Romano Transfer Update: Nketiah Set For £30m Palace Move

Having been linked with a move away from Arsenal for several months, Eddie Nketiah looks to have finally secured an exit from the Emirates, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that he’s set for a move to South London.

The Italian football transfer expert reported on Tuesday afternoon that Crystal Palace had reached full agreement to sign Nketiah permanently, in a deal worth £25 million plus a further £5 million in add-ons.

His report also claims that the 25-year-old has already agreed to the move and that he will now complete his medical tests before a formal announcement is made by both clubs.

Nketiah’s move to Palace comes just days after he came close to signing for Nottingham Forest, who were reportedly in advanced talks with Arsenal over his signature, and Ligue 1 side Marseille are also believed to have been interested in landing the forward.

With the deal now expected to go through, he will follow the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Fabio Vieira out the door, with the latter three leaving the club on season-long loan deals.

In other news at the Emirates, Mikel Arteta’s side still need to find a solution to the Aaron Ramsdale transfer situation, with both Southampton and Wolves reportedly holding an interest in signing him, while Mikel Merino has now officially signed from Real Sociedad.

Hale End Product Nketiah Departs After Making Over 150 Appearances

Joining from Chelsea’s academy in 2015, Nketiah broke into the Arsenal senior set-up during the 2017/18 season as an 18-year-old and has since made a total of 168 appearances for the club, netting 38 goals during that time.

The striker has made over 20 Premier League appearances for the Gunners in each of the last three seasons, with perhaps his most notable contributions coming last term, as he netted a hat-trick against Sheffield United in the league and scored his first ever Champions League goal in a 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven.

His honours at the club include an FA Cup title in 2019/20, two Community Shields in 2020 and 2023, and a Europa League runners-up medal in 2018/19. He also spent half of the 2019/20 season on loan at Leeds, during which he scored five goals in 19 appearances to help the Whites win the Championship.
