MMA fans will be eagerly anticipating the return of the UFC this weekend as it heads to the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, for UFC 305, where Dricus du Plessis and Israel Adesanya will be headlining the event.
Current UFC Middleweight Champion Du Plessis will be putting his title on the line when he takes on Adesanya, in what will mark the first time two African-born fighters meet for a title fight in the organisation’s history.
Du Plessis will be defending his crown for the first time against his Nigerian opponent on Saturday, having beaten Sean Strickland at UFC 297 back in January to claim the title and become the first ever South African UFC champion.
