Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois meet in an all-British world heavyweight title fight at Wembley Stadium in September, where Joshua will be aiming to reclaim one of his former world title belts.

Daniel Dubois will make the first defence of his world title belt in September, when he goes toe-to-toe against former two-time unified boxing world champion Anthony Joshua in front of 80,000 at Wembley Stadium.

It’ll be the first time that the pair have met in the ring, with both fighters coming into the bout off the back of several victories. Dubois has bested Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic in his last two fights, while Joshua has overcome Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou in his last four.

Something that the British duo also have in common is that they both last lost to former undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Joshua was memorably beaten by the Ukrainian in back-to-back fights in September 2021 and August 2022. Dubois, meanwhile, was defeated by ‘The Cat’ only in August of last year.

What Belts Are On The Line For Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois?

Boxing fans are being treated during the month of September, as only a week after a world title bout in Canelo Alvarez vs Edgar Berlanga, Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois meet in an all-British world heavyweight title fight on Saturday, September 21, at Wembley Stadium.

On the line in the British capital is the IBF heavyweight title, which Dubois is defending for the first time in his career after being elevated to full IBF champion after previously holding the title in an interim capacity.

Dubois officially became the new IBF world heavyweight champion in June 2024 after Oleksandr Usyk was forced to vacate the belt just a month after becoming the undisputed champion.

Joshua, a previous IBF world champion, will be aiming to reclaim the belt that he lost against Usyk back in September 2021, with the UK’s best betting sites favouring the 34-year-old to triumph in the lead-up to the fight.
