It has been reported by Yahoo Sports Japan that Inoue’s new Riyadh Season deal is worth around £15 million. That equates to ¥3billion in Japanese currency, making the 31-year-old one of the richest sportsmen in history from the country of Japan.
As part of Inoue’s deal with Riyadh Season, you would think he would be required to fight in Saudi Arabia at least once, if not numerous times. However, that isn’t the case. The deal between Riyadh Season, Turki Alalshikh and Naoya Inoue does not require the undisputed super-bantamweight champion to compete in Saudi Arabia at all.
